Healthy Spinach Salad With Strawberries – Clean Eating

Fresh salads are one of my favorite things about Spring and Summer. All the great produce options make epic salads possible.

This spinach and strawberry salad is loaded with clean, natural ingredients. The combination of salty and sweet is perfectly balanced. Just in time for strawberry season, be sure to stop by your local strawberry patch.

I use a blend of spinach and mixed salad greens because that is my preference. All spinach is a bit much for my tastes. Use all spinach, all salad greens or a combo…whatever you prefer.

Is Balsamic Dressing Healthy

This balsamic vinaigrette dressing is healthy. Made with just 4 ingredients; this dressing is quick, easy and doesn’t have any weird preservatives in it like store bought dressings.

Can This Salad Be Made Vegan

Yes, just omit the cheese and this salad is vegan friendly. There are also vegan cheese options available at grocery stores now, feel free to try that.

Lemon Butter Pan Seared Scallops: These scallops would compliment this salad wonderfully. A fresh and light meal made in about 20 minutes!

Oven Baked Chicken Breast: Spice the chicken breast how you prefer or leave it plain and serve it sliced on top of the spinach salad.

  1. Yummy recipe. Even we should stir together yogurt, white wine vinegar, honey, olive oil, mustard, and poppy seeds to make the dressing. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. The best ever strawberry salad recipe that’s sweet, tangy, crunchy, creamy and the perfect lunch. Even if you make this spinach strawberry salad totally from scratch, it’s a fairly simple recipe.

  3. Mix together the vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, dried mustard, poppyseeds, sugar, and salt. Keep the dressing out at room temperature. Thanks for this amazing recipe.

  4. Can you store the dressing at room temperature? If not, the olive oil solidifies.

  5. Love this salad. I do leave out the nuts and it is still delicious. Think the dressing would be great on just strawberries as an app too! This is one of our favorite salads especially if we are having guests.

  6. Delicious! Love it! I candied the nuts with Monkfruit.

  7. I forgot to buy ingredients for the dressing but have on hand, poppy seed dressing. How how that substitution?
