  1. I had no idea Butterball made so many products! I just added these to my grocery list, as your recipe is mouth watering1

    1. Thanks Amanda! The Butterball Sausage is a nice alternative to the beef sausages. Enjoy!

    1. Thanks! I would even add more sriracha if I could. But I wanted the kiddos to eat it too 🙂

  2. I’m crockpotting this now for the Blackhawks game….look forward to power graising it!!!!

  3. Great recipe. This is also great using Oscar Meyer Select hot dogs (no nitrates or nitrites). When I make them, I don’t use the BBQ sauce but I use apricot jam and a splash of cognac or any brandy. They are delicious as well.

    1. I usually use either Sweet Baby Ray’s or KC Masterpiece. I think I used Sweet Baby Ray’s for this recipe. Enjoy!

  4. Hi Nicole,
Can little smokies be used in this recipe or will it mess up the flavor since they aren’t turkey? Thanks,

    1. I suppose it depends on how hungry everyone is but it should serve 10-12 🙂

  5. I like Slow Cooker Appetizer Recipe Sweet & Spicy Sausage I am so excited to try these recipes. I have wrote down a bunch and bookmarked your page just incase I lose the pages!! It all looks so good.

  6. This sounds super easy and yummy, do you think I could substitute the apricot jam for raspberry or strawberry jam and substitute the turkey sausage for pork sausage links and it still taste as good??

  7. How many ounces of meat? Your picture shows 40 oz packages… Is it really 80 oz total?

    1. This is meant for a party or feast! But, feel free to halve the recipe for a smaller family get-together 🙂
