Spice Blend Recipes

It’s that time of year.  The holiday hustle and bustle.  I’m sure you are all busy planning feasts and Christmas shopping.

I’m here to help out with the feasts AND the shopping.  Homemade Spice Blends to add some flavor and Cole & Mason for the ideal Christmas gift.

I have had the pleasure of working as a Cole & Mason brand ambassador for a while now.  It is a brand that I can genuinely stand behind.  Their products are of the highest quality and made to last.

I have always been cheap frugal.  Back when I was younger this meant that I would buy the cheapest products that I could find.  And they ended up being just that . . . cheap.  Over the years I have learned that sometimes you have to spend a little more now in order to save money in the long run.  Instead of buying the low quality inexpensive products that break within a year.  It makes more sense to buy a product that will last for years to come.

To accompany the superior Cole & Mason Mills, these Homemade Spice Blends are a thoughtful DIY Christmas gift.

Salt and pepper like a professional.  And add your own personal flavor flair with customized spices.  Cole & Mason has an Herb & Spice Mill for your seasoning blends.

I’m sharing three of my favorite spice blends: Chicken, Everyday and Spicy.  But, feel free to customize them to your tastes.  I love cumin, so I add a generous amount to my spicy blend. I’m also a big fan of garlic and thyme.  Increase or decrease the ingredients depending on your preferences.  Or add a whole new flavor!  The possibilities are endless.

  1. Those are absolutely stunning, Nicole. I’d love those pepper mills in my cupboard. Actually, I’d love the out of my cupboard, they are lovely to show off! Great spice mixes too.
