Homemade Flavored Popcorn

I could eat Buffalo Wing Sauce on just about anything.  I love the spice and vinegar flavor combination.  And it tastes great on buttery popcorn.

While this is not a ‘light’ snack because of the butter.  This Buffalo Spiced Popcorn Recipe is a healthier alternative to the usual game day appetizers that are smothered in cheese and bacon.

This Buffalo Popcorn has a subtle spice.  Whenever I added more Buffalo Sauce the popcorn would absorb too much moisture and lose its fluffiness.  Just a warning to anyone {like me} that tries to make this extra spicy.

MY hubster and I munch on lots of popcorn
During our nightly t.v viewing. This will be
A wonderful addition to our munching,
Especially with the weather so cold & snowy
Outside this could really be a hit!
Thanks so much for sharing Nicole. :0)

  3. I love every Pioneer Woman cookbook I own, which is most (if not all) of them. I think it’s probably because I got turned on to Ree right around the time I started to really get into cooking. I’m a budding cookbook collector, so this would be amazing to win!!

  4. Nicole this is flipping amazing. I love popcorn so this is right up my alley. Your photos are outstanding. Thanks so much for joining us for this event. I hope we can work together on more projects. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you better. xx

  5. My fiancé will love this!! He’s been on some weird buffalo sauce kick recently. Last week he tried pouring it on Goldfish. Those, predictably, ended up in the trash. We’ve got to give this a try!

    1. Bahaha, I get into weird obsessive eating patterns too. I had my Buffalo Sauce On Everything phase about 4 years ago 😀

  6. Franks Red Hot makes a powdered seasoning now that would be perfect with this! You could add as much as you want without making the popcorn soggy. Great product when you can’t use more liquid!!

    1. I will have to look for that! Thanks for the suggestion. The powdered Frank’s Red Hot would be a lot easier. Thanks, Deb 🙂
