Almond Milk Breakfast Smoothie

Yield: 2

Ingredients

  • 1½ Cups Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Tablespoons Almond Butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Old Fashion Oats, or quick oats
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup, to desired sweetness

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.

  1. This recipe sounds delicious, but if you are really watching your weight or are diabetic it’s best to sweeten it with Stevia or Truvia instead and then maybe add a natural extract flavoring of your choice.

    1. It is similar to peanut butter but made with almond. You can find it in the nut butter section of your grocery store.

    1. Yes, I’m sure it will still be fine without the bananas. That just adds a creaminess and sweetness to the smoothie. Enjoy!

    1. Thanks! From what I understand raw oats are fine as long as they are soaked in a liquid. Although, I don’t know how anyone could swallow raw oats without liquid, LOL! You can also just leave them off if you prefer 🙂

  4. I tried this great Almond milk smoothie with the exception on maple and it hit the spot. Definitely filling and curbed my sweet tooth.
