Breakfast Charcuterie Board

This is a fun way to serve up a pancake breakfast. Call it pancake charcuterie, pancake board or a pancake buffet. It’s all good!

The sky is the limit with this one. Add as many toppings as you like. Make different pancake variations like blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes. Throw some waffles and croissants on there for extra options.

Pancakes:

Use your favorite pancake recipe or make a flavored variation. Make these BUTTERMILK PANCAKES to start off. If you’re feeling sassy, this MINI PANCAKE CEREAL will be a hit with the kids. Make this EASY BAKED FRENCH TOAST.

Consider adding other breakfast items such as, croissants, pain au chocolat, crepes, biscuits, French toast or waffles. You could also add scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon.

Toppings:

You can use any spreads/toppings/syrups that you usually add to pancakes. Use whatever fruit is in season.

STORAGE AND REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS: 

Pancakes are best served fresh. If reheating is needed, place pancakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Heat in oven at 350ºF for 5 minutes. Pancakes can also be transferred to low oven to keep warm while making a large batch.

Allow pancakes to cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Or 2 months in the freezer.

  • Buttermilk Pancakes
  • Pancake Cereal
  • Nutella
  • Yogurt
  • Peanut Butter
  • Sugar
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Lemons
  • Grapefruit
  • Apricots
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Blackberries
  • Raspberries
  • Cherries
  • Oranges
  • Figs
  • Bananas
  • Canned Pie Filling
  • Honey
  • Syrup

Instructions

    Make your buttermilk pancakes and pancake cereal. Add the various spreads, sugar, yogurt and chocolate chips to small bowls.

    Arrange the buttermilk pancakes on a serving board then place the bowls around the pancakes.

    Add the fresh fruit to fill the gaps.

Notes

To make a beautiful charcuterie a variety of colour and texture as well as size and shape will make an interesting and eye-catching display.
