When I was a kid it was rare for us to go out to eat. But when we were on a road trip we would stop at a greasy cheap diner along the way. My favorite part of road trips. I would usually order a French Dip Sandwich with French fries. I just loved dipping my sandwich and getting it all sloppy. Now when I’m craving French Dips I skip the greasy diner and just make them at home.
These French Dip Sliders are made with soft Hawaiian rolls, provolone, roast beef and sautéed onions. Simple yet so delicious.
Ingredient Options:
- Cheese: Provolone is best for this recipe but sliced mozzarella, Swiss, or white cheddar are also great.
- Add some sliced banana peppers or jalapenos for a spicy kick.
- Hoagie rolls can be used and sliced into small squares after cooking.
- Serve with or without au jus.
