Ground Beef Gravy

Ground Beef Gravy is a hearty meal paired with potatoes, pasta or rice. It is quick, easy and inexpensive. Perfect for feeding your hungry family.

This is a great one-pan recipe that we are keeping simple. In fact, I just toss the ground beef and chopped onions in the pan at the same time. Typically this would be a multi-step process but since I don’t feel the need to brown the meat for gravy I always just cook the meat and onions together.

This gravy is also fantastic with mushrooms added for a little extra flavor. And if you want your gravy a little creamy, add milk or cream with the broth.

  1. Thank you for reminding me about this easy affordable and comforting meal! Haven’t made it for years. We had always called it s.o.s. and used milk in it, serving over toast and pan fried cubed potatoes. I have to make it again now for sure, photos looks so good my tummy is growling. Really need to try the Mexican pizza too! 😋

  2. Made this tonight…. It was delicious! My husband had two big helpings. It’s a keeper!
